Fingers

Each finger reveals its own personality traits.

Willpower & Logic

The thumb represents willpower, logic and self-control. Its flexibility is traditionally read as a marker of adaptability - a stiffer thumb suggests firm resolve, while a flexible one suggests openness to compromise.

Leadership & Ambition

Associated with the Mount of Jupiter beneath it, the index finger reflects ambition, leadership and self-esteem. Its length relative to the ring finger is a classic marker of confidence and natural authority.

Responsibility & Discipline

Usually the longest finger, the middle finger represents responsibility, structure and self-discipline - it’s traditionally read as the anchor that grounds the rest of the hand.

Creativity & Expression

Linked to the Mount of Apollo, the ring finger reflects creativity, emotional expression and social charisma - a longer ring finger is often associated with artistic or expressive talent.

Communication & Intuition

Governing communication style, wit and intuition, the little finger’s independence from the others - how easily it separates when the hand is relaxed - is traditionally read as a sign of independent thinking.

Mounts of the Hand

The mounts are the raised areas on your palm.
